A client had a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requirement to recall batch items. Recall can happen anywhere in the chain from the vendor to the delivery or anywhere in between. The requirement also mandated any BOM that used the batch in the recall also be included. In 2016, the client moved from SAP Business One to the large SAP. In the process, we were asked if we could duplicate this functionality in the new system as they did not like how the new system handled this. We had to decline as we are only focused on SAP Business One, but what a great feeling that was!
